Did you ever wonder how hard it would be to make a chain out of clay? It turns out they aren't hard at all, but they take A MILLION YEARS of fussing to get them smooth and another million to get them painted or finished. They want to stick to their neighbors and get out of shape as they're drying. But shockingly, to me, they didn't pull apart at their joins.
Anyway, I made several chains as an experiment and then a bunch more. Maybe even a million more, which means multiplying a million chains times a million years per chain to finish them...that's a long time.
As queen of the dad joke, here's one that just popped into my mind. This is a piece you could get attached to!
